Neil Rogers is working with Wanås a 4,500 hectare estate in northern Skåne, Sweden to create a tourism strategy that will include the establishment of accommodations, deli, restaurant, organic food store and a flexible space for small corporate meetings or workshops.

The estate is already a leader in the arts, education and sustainability through its Swedish and international contemporary art exhibition and its acclaimed organic dairy farming and forestry practices.

The development of sustainable tourism is already off to a great start at Wanås through its adoption of the Zeitz Foundation’s Long Run Philosophy. The next stages are exploring innovative accommodation and facility design so that guests may enjoy immersive and authentic ‘place based’ experiences during their stay on the estate.

Seasonal cuisine with locally sourced organic ingredient; nature and cultural walking and cycling; wildlife observation and hands on learning experiences plus cuisine and arts oriented workshops will introduce guests to the charm and authenticity of Skåne.
