Neil Rogers has been awarded the contract to be the international expert in marketing for the South Sámi Culinary and Adventure Route. The project is owned by Gaaltije Sydsamiskt kulturcentrum with work taking place in August and September 2014. The expert will explore a circular route starting and finishing in Trondheim, Norway that incorporates culinary and active experiences in Åre, Vålådalen, along Fäbodvägen to Glen, on to Lungdalen, Mittådalen , Funäsdalen then back into Norway for stops in Røros, Ås and Selbu. Neil will use a tourism value chain analysis to evaluate the route using the road trip findings. While traveling the route he will identify potential market actors and beneficiaries and find ‘local cuisine and craft heroes’.The aim of the project is increase visibility and deliver interactive digital content to help visitors find, trip plan and book services along the route.
